DDWRT to linksys E1200v2

update at 2014-02-20
currently DD-WRT for linksys E1200v2 only able to flash by mini (small) version only.
same to E1200v1

DD-WRT broadcast problem

I found that there is many people facing DD-WRT wireless broadcast problem. here is some temp solution.
i put there command: wl up
as pic below.

Android Flash ROM

When flash a ROM, not simply delete/format the system folder (/system). it content all ROM/OS file, once delete it you can not access the OS.
How if accidentally deleted it when flashing a ROM.

1) Flash the ROM as normal flow. but most of time you are delete those ROM.zip file as well. then can go for second step.
2) Flash the ROM from ext-sdcard (memory stick). copy the file(ROM.zip) to ext-sdcard and flash the new ROM. but how if the file is not there and can not copy to there at that moment.
3)  adb command.
- go to recovery mode.
- command sample to copy the file (ROM.zip) to sdcard.
adb push D:\4\SuperNexus-3.0-i9500-BUILD1.zip /sdcard/0/SuperNexus-3.0-i9500-BUILD1.zip
adb push D:\4\gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip /sdcard/0/gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
4) Try install sideload.

You can always backup the file to sdcard first.
** base on CWM recovery mode.

Backup Wechat amr file

Remember not to click delete. else your amr file will physically remove.

Add route success but not show at route print

When you try to add a route
eg. route add -4 192.168.10.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.20.0 METRIC 10 IF 10

Message show success added.
but when you route print it not show.
please check the interface is correct or wrong.
you might be add to wrong interface. or the interface is not active. that why it not show.

Wechat 5.0

Wechat 5.0 can not delete personal (1 to 1) chat room.

update:
old version- press and hold the char room
5.0- strike/drag from left to right. there have delete button.

found that sp_trace_setfilter for NULL from sql2008R2 sp1 not work.

eg. EXEC sp_trace_setfilter @TraceID, 1, 0, 1, NULL

DATENAME not work

SQL server 2008 SP3 not work for this : select DATENAME(month, '2012-07-01')
it will show result 07 instead of JUL.
well, sql server 2008 R2 working fine.

Permission problem

When Try Qwinsta to Windows Server 2008 R2, it Give error 5. Which not happen to others server.
After some Study, Can try the command below.

Psexec.exe \\123.123.123.123 qwinsta

OR

runas /netonly /user:administrator "qwinsta /server:123.123.123.123" 
* which will prompt for the server password.

And Windows Server 2008 not allow to remote to physical console anymore, no wonder how u connect it will not connect to session 0 (which reservce for service used).
But for your infor, for some of the purpose, you might need to use /admin (or /console) for the connection.

Interaction with SQL Studio

This is actually not recommend since SQL is not for user interaction purpose.
and my stupid way which actually is IN PROCESSING when waiting for user to feedback.

when after run the main script.
every 5 second it will track the table T1.
So you can insert 'N' into T1 (start with empty table) as reject.
else insert other as accept.

WebUIValidation.js Problem

IF you try re-register or copy the file with aspnet_regiis -c or other way not work.
Can try to change APP POOL for that website, when prompt for virtual direcorty just select the related row.
APPLY and OK. done.
Try again after restart the App Pool. Success, no more WebUIValidation.js Prompting.

Not too sure why sudden cant show the properties of IIS (when right click).
It stuck at process REGASM.EXE, after i kill it then the properties able to show (pop up).
Maybe after I update windows (with restart).

Situation, maybe will cause to NET1.1 in windows 2003 64bit.
but i fix it with double click to run the REGASM.EXE at the path ...NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\.

Wrapper log size grow like crazy

Weird Case happen like this:
Wrapper (wrapper.log) file size is grow and over limit.
Suspect something happen when turn from wrapper.log to wrapper.log.1. cause after wrapper.log.1 missing, then wrapper.log size keep grow.

File size limit: 124K
Max log file: 20
wrapper.exe: 3.0.5 version

ASPNET1.1 on w2k3 64bit

There is 1 thing need to check when aspnet 1.1 not work in windows2003 64bit after enable and setting.
go to:
website -> properties ->home directory tab -> configuration -> application extensions:
change aspx (or those extension that use 1.1) to isapi:1.1

After 1 days of checking, finally I got Y the RowCounts from sql profiler got problem. it cause by AUTO STATISTICS. here is some pic of the problem.

OpenVPN fail

After a period didnt use OpenVPN, I come back for it again.
at start i try for start the GUI and connect. but keep fail for errcode=31
and show some permission message. I check around the internal to solve it, but still fail.
i thought it was cause by
- i add domain to server
- didnt update virtualbox (i thought the version not sync to host)
- windows update

but i keep on checking on permission.
and check on openvpn server.

what i do:
- stop star service
- restart server and client
- reinstall ( and with ltest version)

but still fail. then i try on another cert which give me another error. (but both cert is same setting)
make me blur why same setting may cause different error.
finally, i get it.
i start service from clinet side which shouldnt start.
cause once u start the service, it will use up TAP network, and GUI not able to use it.
Actaully not openvpn fail, Is me fail.
